Do you have a ticket or case involving the North Richland Hills Police Department?
I was involved in a case of what I think was initially mistaken identity. However, after showing proof why I was not and could not be involved in the activities I was wrongfully associated with, members of the North Richland Hills Police Department continued to discuss this situation with other police officers.
I filed an internal affairs complaint with the Police Department. Sergeant Bret Dinkins responded to the complaint and according to internal police records - received through the Freedom of Information Act - Dinkins falsified his response to me.
I entered into litigation against one member of the North Richland Hills Police Department - Todd Espy. During the litigation Espy submitted a sworn affidavit to the court which was contridictory to his email statement made to Dinkins during the internal affairs investigation.
Just a couple weeks before I settled the lawsuit, where the North Richland Hills Police Department finally admitted that I had not been involved in the activities I was accused of, Detective Wayne Goodman committed perjury by submitting a provabley false affidavit to the court.
I have reported this illegal activity to the Police Chief, Jimmy Perdue and he has taken no action to remove these officers from the NRHPD. I have no idea why Chief Jimmy Perdue would keep dishonest police officers on his Department. The entire city has circled the wagons and is hiding behind the city attorney, George Staples.
If you are or have been involved in a case with the North Richland Hills Police Department and your attorney believes that a pattern of dishonesty by police officers at the North Richland Hills PD would help your case, please have them contact me. I don't want to see anyone else harmed by dishonest cops.
