Awards
The Championship will have awards for top riders in each division as well as the riders placing in the composite overall ranking. While all regional events currently place great focus on "Mr. Rodeo", the National Championship will place emphasis on the agency with the best overall proficiency. As I have told many riders calling for information, I liken the final awards to the Academy Awards. In the final count up for the night, it is individual awards for best actress, actor, director and then the overal all award for "team" - best motion picture. At the Awards Banquet, we'll count up the individual rankings but end with the overal best team. The following awards will be presented Saturday evening at the awards banquet.

Overall Team
Team Slow Ride
Team Relay
Overall Individual
Individual 5 pattern timed and technical per division
Individual Slow Ride/Riot Run
Challenge Ride
Overall Novice
Overall Intermediate
Over 50 rider
Oldest rider
Youngest rider
Rookie rider

Other awards may be given at the discretion of the rodeo committee. It is the goal of the rodeo committee to present as many awards in each division as possible. The exact number of award placements will depend on the number of competitors.
