Welcome to the 2006 Palmetto Police Motorcycle Skills Competition.

The training and competition this year will be held July 20-22 at the North Charleston Coliseum. The event is sponsored by the Charleston County Sheriff's Office.

The training portion will have IPTM instructors available to help each rider with the various exercises on each day of practice. The competition will be held on Saturday the 22nd with timed courses.

There will be an awards banquet on Saturday night and the riders will receive one ticket to the banquet with their paid entry. Additional tickets will be available for purchase.

All of the proceeds from the competition will benefit the Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy which provides pastoral care and counseling for employees and families of law enforcement and emergency service agencies.
