2009 POLICE MOTORCYCLE SURVEY

Police motorcycles are one of the most visible specialty units in any department. Expanding upon the survey that was taken in 2006, this survey will continue to document information about police motorcycle units. The survey is broken into six sections:
  • Department Information
  • Officer Overview
  • Officer Duties
  • Equipment Information
  • Accidents
  • Training Overview
Please help spread the word about this survey. Even if your law enforcement agency doesn't have a motorcycle squad, there are still some applicable questions. With your participation, this survey will provide the best overview of police motorcycle squads.

To make it easier for you to take the survey, download a copy of the questions (pdf format) to prepare your information.

BEFORE TAKING THE SURVEY
Take a look in the agency section and see if your department appears. If there is a listing, someone from your department has taken the survey. PLEASE DO NOT REPEAT THE SURVEY, BUT UPDATE YOUR INFORMATION THROUGH 2009. Please contact members of your unit to determine who had completed the questions. If you are unable to determine who completed the survey, email me and I can reset the account.
